[Well, there are worse people she could be prodded into working with, Alice supposes.

She's not sure how she feels about Rhys - if this is Rhys, it seems like it probably is from the context, she doesn't recognize his handwriting - telling her what to do, but it's more of a clue than she's had so far, so she'll grab Alfendi by the sleeve and unceremoniously slap the note into his hand so he can read it.]

What is- [He says, already frowning because he's being grabbed, but then he sees the note. He pauses, reading it to himself.]

[Well, now.]

That son of a bitch! [He says, crumpling the note in one fist.] Ugh, so I guess he is useful for something, if we can believe the idiot.

[Alice shrugs, but she's smiling.]
