[ It's callous, but that's what Break is hoping for here. Anything less than that and this wouldn't work, and that's why he hadn't approached Rhys (or Morrigan, for that matter) with this idea before. He had to be certain, because obviously revealing such callousness to the wrong person would be a death sentence in a situation like this. He nods in agreement, and he's planning on speaking to that, but Rhys continues with a question. Break thinks it's going to be logistics, something about Break himself, but... The question is one he hadn't expected at all.

He's surprised, but that expression into a smile that's sardonic. Before he even says anything, he does think it's strange. Revealing this much about himself to strangers in such a short time... This was more than he had revealed to people he had known for decades or more. Granted, it was hardly pressing in that case, but it's still strange for him. ]

But that's the opinion of a dead man. There very well could be other forces at work to make it so there's "more," because that's what happened for me, in a sense. But I'm not sure if I would recommend it.
