[Not even a little bit suspicious. But Lithuania simply nods, though she does a good job of looking confused about whatever Rhys could possibly need her for.] I don't mind. Is something wrong?

[ thank you for picking up on the mood here, lithuania. rhys just grins and falls into step with her, tucking his hands into his pockets and looking forward as they walk. ]

Pfft, everything's wrong always. [ ugh, he's so bitter. ] But god, you know how a few weeks ago we had an argument over... something or other, I don't even remember. It all sort of blurs together. Some comment I made I guess, about people dying.

[ running a hand through his hair and sighing. ]

Anyway, I said not to tell Poland about it? I think now I'd like to tell Poland about it.

[Lithuania catches on immediately. Emotions? Totally oblivious a lot of the time. This sort of thing? She's on it. And she really would like to tell Poland, though the logistics of that are a bit difficult right now with Miata out of the picture.] I suppose as long as I can mediate between the two of you that would be alright. [She makes it sound as if she means in reference to how often Rhys and Poland fight. To be fair, it's also kind of in reference to that, but mostly she's referring to other things.Poland can keep quiet, and Lithuania knows how to talk around a situation and still get Poland to understand when things are serious.] There are certainly more than enough people dying now.

[And Poland won't let the basement comment Gilbert made go.] Things are a bit busy right now, though. [Where exactly are they going to discuss this? They don't have access to the basement.]

[ a bit of tension around rhys' face seems to loosen and he nods, relieved. ]

I was thinking your room? It's relatively private and I only want to patch things up, talk about the town a bit. Nothing really important, just trying to get a read on things... see how people are feeling.

I just know if I approach her without you, we'll just start yelling at each other.

[Maybe if you hadn't thrown her ring in the snow--okay, no, that didn't actually matter as far as yelling at each other.] I'll tell her to take things seriously. As long as it's nothing too dramatic I should be able to keep the yelling to a minimum. [Also, Katerina will have less of a chance of seeing it or caring about it if it's just some people being boring talking in a room.]
